The police of the Czech Republic
There are some dangerous situations, which require police assistance. Police officers are authorized to limit a person’s personal freedom and if it is necessary forbid an aggressive person to enter shared accommodation for 10 days. Meanwhile, the intervention centre will contact you and offer you help for free with prepared proposals and a judge can extend this period of time up to 6 months.
Intervention center

5 STEPS TO A NEW LIFE
Except for the situations, where you are in imminent danger, you can manage a lot of steps without help. We will lead you through the process, of how to start a safe life without fear.
1. IDENTIFICATION
2. OPTIONS
What will be your advice to your nearest person, if he/she tells you the same story?
- Do you have a problem?Just talk about it.
- Have you talked about it and it didn´t help?Find a relationship expert.
- Your partner doesn´t want to or the violence continues?End your relationship.
- You don´t live together yet?End your relationship right! Use blocking, blacklisting, ignoring, etc.
- Do you live together? Move out.
- You don´t know where to go? Try your family, friends, or emergency accommodation.
3. DECISION
Starting to solve the problem, and accepting help from experts, is proof of your POWER not weakness. In some cases, this help is not enough.
The imagination of ending a 20-year relationship could be for somebody unimaginable. “I don´t want to throw 20 years of my life away.” “I don´t want to find somebody else at my age.” “I´ve gotten used to this relationship. I am ok with it.” When you realize, how DANGEROUS a relationship could be in 5 years, you still have a chance to prevent it.
Decide to solve the situation. Tell it to your nearest friend or family
4. MOVE OUT
Is it unimaginable to move out of your house, where you have been living for 15 years and you have enough possessions to fill two lorries?
- It is said, that it´s better to burn than to move out. If you are living in a flat or house, which means for you your common past, it could be much more difficult. Today you can use moving services, which are not too expensive. Packing only your important things will take only one afternoon. Especially, if your friends help you. Property disputes will be solved by a court.
If you are afraid of attack from your partner, just ask the police for help.
- The police will be with you all the time you pack your things and prevent anyone from attacking you.
Pack emergency luggage and hide it somewhere outside your house, somewhere, where you can pick it up quickly. In an emergency situation maybe you will have to leave without your purse or wallet, so it is good to have some cash in your emergency luggage and copies of important documents. Do not forget:
- ID card, driving license, health insurance card
- Birth certificate, job contract, education certificate
- Mobile phone, charger, and power bank
- Medication that you take regularly or just in case of headache, temperature, or digestive problems.
5. A NEW LIFE
You can´t erase the past and maybe you will think about going back. Maybe your ex-partner will ask you about going back and will want to see you, even if you want to or not. Every time – just remember, how it was in the past and think about it, if you want to go back after such an exhausting fight. Do not forget, that you can use free help from the intervention center after ending a relationship.

To není stejné číslo,” upozorňuje Moree. Potvrzuje to i metodik profesního vzdělávání policie a vedoucí projektu proti domácímu násilí Neodkládej to Vladimír Borský.”

Mgr. Ing. Bc. Vladimír Borský, MBA, LL.M., který nám projekt představil. “
